To dock a bike, line up the triangle at the front of the bike with the dock and push the bike firmly into the dock. The light on the dock will first show yellow. If it turns to green, it means you’ve docked the bike correctly and ended your ride.
If the light turns to red, it means that the bike was not docked correctly and is not locked. If no light appears at all, it means that the bike was not inserted correctly into the dock. If you get a red light or no light, remove the bike from the dock and push it back in to try again. If you're out on a ride and are having trouble docking a bike, please contact CoGo customer service, now supported by Lyft.
Annual Members can confirm that they've successfully docked a bike and ended a ride by checking their trip history in their account online. If you're not sure whether you ended a trip correctly, please return to the station and check to make sure it's secure. You are responsible for the bike until your trip is properly closed.
